405VNTS - Franco Cuadra black deer leather strap ankle boots for women

A wraparound strap and a sculpted gold monogram give the 405VNTS its signature. Franco Cuadra cut the front and shaft from pebble-grain deer leather in black, then paired it with smooth calfskin panels at the heel counter and inner quarter, so the bootie shows two textures in the same deep shade.

The strap is the detail people notice first. It starts low at the back of the heel, crosses over itself and wraps around the ankle to fasten on the outer side with an antique-gold oval buckle shaped as an interlaced FC. On the inner side, a full-length zipper with a monogrammed metal pull makes getting in and out easy.

The shaft rises about 5.5 inches with an 11.5-inch opening, and the stacked block heel measures roughly 2.2 inches, tall enough to lift the line of trousers or a midi skirt yet steady enough for a full day on your feet. A softly rounded toe, gray leather lining and a leather sole painted deep navy, protected by a rubber half sole and heel cap, complete the construction.
