This Privacy Policy explains how MCA TRADE, LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Kuet ("Kuet," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and discloses personal information through kuet.us (the "Site") and our retail locations, and the rights and choices available to you.

By using the Site or providing us with personal information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

If you subscribe to our text messaging program, you also agree to our Messaging Terms and Messaging Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers — Name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email address, account login credentials, IP address, and device or online identifiers.
  • Commercial Information — Products purchased, considered, returned, or exchanged; order history; cart contents; payment method.
  • Financial Information — Payment card and billing information, processed by our payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Internet and Network Activity — Pages viewed, browsing and search activity on the Site, referring URLs, interactions with our emails and advertisements, and session data.
  • Geolocation Data — Approximate location derived from IP address or shipping address.
  • Marketing and Communications Data — Email and SMS subscription status, preferences, survey and contest responses, and customer service correspondence.
  • Inferences — Preferences and characteristics derived from the above, used to personalize product recommendations and offers.

Sources. We collect this information directly from you (at checkout, account registration, in store, or when you contact us); automatically through your use of the Site; and from service providers such as our ecommerce platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, and advertising partners.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined under California law — such as government identification numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, health data, or biometric data — and we do not use or disclose any such information for purposes that would require a right-to-limit notice.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process, fulfill, ship, and manage your orders, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
  • Create and maintain your Personal Shopping Account.
  • Communicate with you about transactions, shipping, product availability, and customer service inquiries.
  • Send promotional emails and text messages about products, offers, and events, where permitted by law.
  • Personalize your shopping experience and present relevant product recommendations.
  • Measure and improve the performance of the Site, our marketing, and our advertising.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, unauthorized transactions, and abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax, customs, and consumer protection requirements, and enforce our Terms of Service.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Transactional messages regarding your orders are not promotional and may continue.

3. Text Message (SMS) Program

If you opt in, we send recurring marketing text messages to the number you provide, using an automated system. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for assistance. Your mobile number and messaging data are processed by our messaging provider under the Messaging Terms and Messaging Privacy Policy linked above.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers collected for SMS purposes with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and consent to receive text messages is never shared or sold.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain your shopping cart and session and enable secure checkout (strictly necessary).
  • Understand site traffic and performance (analytics).
  • Deliver and measure advertising on third-party platforms, including social media and search engines (advertising).

Advertising cookies and pixels may allow third parties, including Google and Meta, to receive information about your activity on the Site and to show you advertisements elsewhere. Under certain state privacy laws, this activity may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising," even though no money is exchanged.

Your choices. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may limit Site functionality. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where technically feasible. Visitors located in states that provide an opt-out right will see a Your Privacy Choices link in the Site footer, which allows you to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. You may also submit an opt-out request to angel@kuet.us.

5. Disclosure of Information

Kuet does not sell your personal information for money. We disclose personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers and processors — payment processors, ecommerce and hosting platforms, shipping carriers, email and SMS providers, analytics and advertising vendors, and customer service tools, each contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than performing services for us.
  • Affiliates and corporate entities operating under common control with Kuet.
  • Advertising partners, as described in Section 4, which may constitute "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under applicable state law.
  • Legal and safety purposes — to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or enforceable governmental request, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kuet, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, where personal information may be transferred as a business asset.

International transfers. Some of our employees, contractors, and service providers are located outside your country of residence, including in Mexico. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in those jurisdictions, which may have different data protection standards than your own.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining your account, completing transactions, and complying with our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. Transaction records are generally retained for a minimum of seven (7) years. Marketing contact information is retained until you opt out or request deletion.

7. Data Security

Kuet employs commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Payment transactions are encrypted in transit and processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers.

No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Right to know or access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
  • Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to portability — receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
  • Right to opt out — opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). The rights above apply to you. You may exercise them yourself or through an authorized agent with written permission and verification of identity.

Texas residents (TDPSA). The rights above apply to you. If we deny your request, you may appeal within a reasonable period by replying to our decision at angel@kuet.us. We will respond to an appeal within sixty (60) days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Montana, and others, have substantially similar rights, which we honor.

How to submit a request. Email angel@kuet.us with the subject line "Privacy Request," or write to us at Kuet, Attn: Privacy, 2200 S 10th St, Ste. H10, McAllen, TX 78503. To protect your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity, which may include asking you to confirm details associated with your account or recent orders. We will respond within forty-five (45) days, with one extension of an additional forty-five (45) days where reasonably necessary, and will notify you if an extension is required.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at angel@kuet.us and we will take prompt steps to delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

11. Conditions of Use

Your use of the Site is governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, which include limitations on liability and damages, dispute resolution through binding arbitration, a waiver of class actions, and the application of the laws of the State of Texas. Please review the Terms of Service carefully.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the Site or by email where required by law. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
